Lambda Club: DEC. Doings

12/2 We had a group dinner out at Sunset Grill. 14 in attendance. Afterwards, over to my house for some wine.
12/6 Brunch at Acropol restaurant.
12/9 Cocktail party at Tony's. Lots of good food too. 14 in attendance. Also watched Glee while we were there.
12/12 Front Steppers met to walk at 9:30am. Small but plucky group did an hour walk. Later, party at Howard and Russ'. Turned out to be a surprise birthday party for me. Blush. More good food and drink.
12/13 Brunch at Pete's Restaurant in Dunedin.
Upcoming-Holiday party at the Recreation Center on 12/16.

About us

Living the good life in Clearwater, Florida in the 55+ condo community of On Top of the World (OTOW). Since 2009, we've had a social club here called Lambda for our LGBT residents.

OTOW is a friendly place where we’ve found a home. The Lambda Club has a monthly social/cocktail party. Throughout the year, we also have dine-outs, game nights, potlucks, theater nights, and the occasional cruise. Our activities are all low cost but high fun. We want to get the word out so more 55+ LGBT people will consider this to be a good place to live.

Located in Clearwater, Florida, OTOW is a large community of 800 acres with around 5000 condos and is well maintained. Residents here have a wide variety of clubs and activities available to them. And for sun worshippers, Clearwater Beach is only 8 miles away. Clearwater is in the Tampa Bay area which is a metropolitan area of over 4 million people. Consisting of the cities of Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and the surrounding counties, Tampa Bay always has a lot of entertainment and cultural events going on. In addition, this area has a large LGBT population.
