Highlighted Event in February
Friday, Feb. 13, 7pm. Monthly Club Social in the Sunrise Room in the West Activity Center. It's the Red Party. Dress code: Red! As you enter, a musician will be playing love songs. Stop by the bar for the cocktail of the night: Cupid's Arrow. One sip and you'll be smitten! Mingle, mingle. Mr. or Ms. Right may be there tonight! As usual, our members will put out a tasty buffet.
***We will have a special feature this night. As of Jan. 6, Florida became the 36th state to recognize same sex marriages. At our monthly social, we will have an officiant present who will be able to marry couples at no charge, courtesy of the Lambda Club. Or if a couple wants to renew their vows, they are welcome to do so, as well. RSVP to the club if you want to do this. Remember that for marriage, you will need to get a license. There is a three day waiting period. Contact the Pinellas County Court Clerk for more information.
***Update. We have two couples who will be there to tie the knot.
