End of October

Our monthly meeting went very well. Had 10 members present. And a guest speaker. Dale Nabors gave a talk about the real estate market in the area - with some emphasis on OTOW. He also brought a doorprize which was won by Tony. Refreshments were supplied by Jerry and Richard. Thanks, guys.
This weekend, we're having our Sunday brunch at the Paradise Restaurant in Safety Harbor. Then some of us are going to St. Petersburg to see a gay play called The New Century. Good reviews.
Next Friday, Halloween eve, there's a club party. Drinks, snacks and a scary movie.

Jazz Festival & other happenings

Some of us are going to the Clearwater Jazz Festival Sat. 10/17.
Sunday brunch is at Farmer Boy's on Drew St. at noon.
Monthly meeting for Lambda is Wed. 10/21 at 7pm in the rec center.

***10/19 Some followup info on these events. Saw Bony James at Coachman Park. Price was right - free! But was kinda cool for around here. Breezy and in the 50's. A nice change from the 90's of a few days ago, but pretty brisk! Some of the other members went over to the Clip Film Festival to see Eating Out III.
At brunch on Sunday, there were seven of us.

Glee report

Had 11 people at the Glee showing. We met a new member, too. Our hosts put on a nice spread - snacks and drinks. Many thanks.
As for the show, lots of good music. Of course, I'm a fan. Not sure of how many converts we made to the show. We'll do this again and see what the attendance is like. ;)
